We are currently looking for healthcare facilities where we can display healing art by local artists.  If you are interested, let's talk.  Art and music can change the whole atmosphere of your medical facility.  Music creates a calm and welcoming environment and can help to reduce stress, pain and burn-out.  Having art on the walls (that changes periodically) has been proven to add to positive and compassionate feelings among staff and visitors.

We are experts in bringing healing arts into your facility.  Let us know how we can help.

Current Programs

After an over two year hiatus due to COVID 19, we are finally back offering programs to help patients and caregivers heal through the arts.  We are currently working primarily at CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital.  We are so happy to be back.  We know our programs of music and visual make a difference.  If you would like to talk to us about bringing programming to your healthcare facility, please contact judy@artsandhealthcare.org

 100 Women Who Care

Arts and Healthcare is responsible for administering the workings of 100 Women Who Care About Central Louisiana.  Our role is to coordinate gatherings each quarter for this giving circle, maintain all records, send reminders to members, collect donations, disperse donations, file for matching grants, etc.  Since 2016, 100 Women has donated over $250,000 to charities in our local community.  Arts & Healthcare is proud to have been responsible for making this happen.
